Salat Pori Bujhe Bujhe

Allah says, "And establish prayer for those who remember Me." Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Surely the believers are successful who are humble in their prayers.” - (Surah Al-Muminun 1-2)

Allah further says: (O Prophet!) Recite the Book which has been sent down to you by revelation and establish Salat. Puts. - (Surat al-Ankabut - 45)

In the first of the three verses quoted above, Allah says to establish (establish) the prayer in remembrance of Him (Allah). But how much do we remember Allah while standing in prayer? We stand in prayer and think about business, jobs, farming, family problems, various aspects of our daily lives. So to what extent is Allah's call to establish prayer for the remembrance of Allah being implemented? In Surah Al-Mu'minun, Allah describes the characteristics of the successful believers as humble in prayer. When a person goes in front of a person who is more powerful, respected and dignified than him, he naturally bows down in humility. But how humble we are to stand in prayer before the Almighty, the Most High, the Most High? We pray and our minds are focused elsewhere.

In Surah Ankabu, Allah says with certainty that prayer keeps people away from obscenity and evil deeds. But what is the real picture? Millions of Muslims are praying five times a day and observing obscenity (in the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah) just by praying. Then we see that none of the above verses of Allah are being implemented today. Why is this happening? The word of God is 100% correct. Then why prayer has no effect on our lives? One of the reasons for this is that in every aspect of Salat such as Qiyam (standing), Qiraat (recitation), various Tasbeeh, Doa, Ruku, Sijdah, Baitak, etc., Allah Almighty has provided us with education that will change our lives, but we are mostly Muslims. I don't know.

We don't know what we read while standing in prayer, what is being said in the recitation of the Qur'an, what is being recited in ruku sijdah, what is being recited while sitting in the prayer meeting, we do not even know what we are saying in munajat to Allah. As a result, we are not able to remember Allah in this prayer, no humility is being created in the prayer and we are not able to remove unjust obscenity from our life, in a word, the prayer has no effect on our life. A prayer that is unable to influence our lives implies that it is not being accepted in the court of Allah. Therefore, if we know and understand every aspect of the prayer in the right way, the prayer will be fulfilled, purified, the effect of the prayer will be on our life and it will be accepted in the court of Allah. Only this prayer will be able to change our lives.

Another purpose of compiling this book is to help us understand the Qur'an in Arabic. What we read in Salat, Surah Fatiha, some other Surahs, Doa, Tasbeeh, contains about half of the words used in the Qur'an. So if one masters every subject of this book, he will see that he knows about half of the words of the Qur'an.

The fruit of our efforts is to read and understand the book keeping in view the two goals mentioned above. In it we have given everything from the call to prayer to the recitation of the prayer, from the child to the prayer to the Qunoot and the prayers after the return of the prayer, the various prayers of daily life and all the prayers that we usually do to Allah with meaning and semantics. Some brothers have helped me in this work. If Allah accepts our efforts and if all Bengali speaking Muslim brothers and sisters benefit from it, then our efforts will be successful. May Allah accept our efforts in good faith. Amen!
